My twitching index finger hovers over the trigger of a Magnum .44. I see very little downside to executing this bully.

Even if I somehow get caught, the judge and jurors will applaud my gift to humanity.

The man’s fat lips start moving. “You really think you are man enough to kill me?”

I can tell this monster is scared. It’s after midnight and the wharf is isolated. He is shaking and sweat is drizzling down his pockmarked face. Vomit tries to climb my esophagus and I force it down. My nose stings from that and the salty air. My fury causes me to stutter worse than usual. “I.. I… You… You… ca… ca… ca… can’t… t… t… t… ta… talk… to… to…” The sub-human leers at me.

“That’s what I thought. Now put down that phallic symbol before you hurt yourself.”

I aim the revolver at his gaping mouth. I experience two realities converge. I grip the gun tighter as I flash into my own fifth grade mind. I am lying face down in brown grass while several boys above me jeer. The sun beats down on my head while Billy pummels my back and arms.

“Eat grass sucker or get a Nuclear Wedgie.” Even if I eat the grass I am sure Billy will still pull my underwear up over my head. Last time it was; say “uncle” or get a Royal Flush in a toilet bowl with his urine.

I take a bite of the bitter grass.

“Not enough munchin’ munchkin!” Billy and his protection squad laugh uproariously.

I swear I’ll never let this happen to me again, as he stretches my underwear up my back. The only relief to the searing pain is when my underwear rips apart and the waistband is thrust over my face.

I open my eyes and I’m no longer on the ground, but Billy is somehow standing in front of me. At least I think this monster is Billy.

Shut up mind!

I will end the pain. “N…Ne…Nev… Never again!” The gun erupts in my hand. I feel my brain explode as the monsters brains truly do humorously explode. “Never again, you filthy piece of trash!” I say, startling myself. I smack my mouth deliriously overwhelmed. I have just spoken my first complete, uninterrupted sentence out loud since Billy invaded my life. Manic joy overwhelms me as I crumple to my knees.

My eyes blur and reality returns in waves. This wasn’t Billy at all, but an even more sadistic creature named George. He ripped out my heart when he stole away the only girl who ever loved me. The necessary sacrifice is my salvation.
