Marty and Jennifer stood below, staring in awe and wondering where Doc. Brown and his family would go next.

Now that the Delorean had been destroyed, Marty wasn’t sure how they’d get home. A moment later, a loud bang and a rush of wind made Marty and Jennifer flinch. Behind them, a long row of flaming tire-tracks led up to a grey Delorean. Slowly the door lifted high in the air and a mass of skin rolled out of the driver’s side.

“Marty?” Jennifer looked scared. She had every reason to be scared. What if this was another of Biff’s cruel invasions of time and space?

A wrinkled mass of ancient skin lumbered towards them. Jennifer hid behind Marty, but he was done running. He had faced down Libyan terrorists, school principles, gunslingers, Indians, and various bullies, most related to the Tanner family.

As the blob of wrinkles approached, Marty could tell there was the form of a human underneath all that skin. It looked like it had spent years marinating in a pickle bath. It clearly had four limbs and a head with whisps of blue hair. It propped itself upright with a cane mysteriously hovering inches above the ground. Marty tilted his head and squinted his eyes. He was about to tell Jennifer to run away when the creature spoke.

Its voice was raspy, yet somehow familiar. “I need a favor.”

Marty blinked in surprise that the thing could speak. “Who are you?”

“I’m you.” Drool drizzled down several folds of wrinkles.

“Seriously? Again? What about the time-space continuum?”

“Doc. Brown was wrong about that. I need you to take this serum anytime you ever eat a GMO product from Monsanto?”

“A what now?” Marty had never heard of either Monsanto or GMO.

“I’ve written the recipe down here. They should firm up our skin’s survivor-lines. Don’t worry, you won’t need to adjust about your diet until after 1996.”

“This is heavy!” Marty flicked his fingers through his hair. “Are you telling me that if I don’t protect myself, then I’m gonna wind up looking like you?”

“I am you, knucklehead! Jeez, I’d forgotten how slow I was on the uptake.”

“Chill dude! I …”

A loud popping sound hurt Marty’s ears as a black train reappeared from the nether in a flash of light, leaving rows of flames on the tracks.

Doc. Brown jumped out of the engine door yelling, “Stop!”

He may look old, but Doc sure is limber.

“Great Scott, Marty! Don’t give that to yourself!”

“Why not?” Both Martys responded simultaneously to Doc. Brown.

“Because!” Doc’s arms flailed high in the air. “Once your formula is discovered to prevent GMO wrinkling, then it will take another dozen years to realize the more insidious dangers of GMO’s, including millions of explosive deaths. With those extra years, Monsanto will solidify their position as rulers of the world and nowhere on earth will be safe from GMO’s. After that, it will only take another two hundred years for all human life on the planet to die off.

“That’s heavy Doc! Talk about a wrinkle in time.” Marty said to keep things light. I’d sure like to know any secret that can keep me from turning into that ugly monstrosity.

“Marty! This is not a joking matter.” Doc put a hand on young Marty’s shoulder. “Your attempts to help yourself will ultimately assist Monsanto in killing billions of people.” He turned to Marty senior and said, “Hand that to me and get back to the future.” The blob handed over what was in his wrinkled upper appendages.

Marty Senior coughed and said, “But Doc, what about Monsanto?”

Doc put his hands on his hips and said, “Leave that to me.”

“But I want to help!” Both Martys said in unison.

“You both shall. But, I need the help of your jr. high self. He will help me nip this disaster in the bud.”

Within minutes, both Doc and Marty’s future self had flown into separate time portals leaving Jennifer and young Marty still needing a ride home.

I hope Jennifer will still marry me knowing what I might look like someday.

The black flux-capacitated train lifted into the air, made a few abrupt turns and sped into the void of time.
